Operating in the label and packaging sector since 1981, İlketap is now using its own energy to carry out its own production through the Solar Power Plant with the solar panels built on the roof of its factory.
Mostly producing label packages for corporate companies in the food, beverage, personal/home care products, and most importantly, hygiene and disinfectant sectors in our day, İlketap contributes to the pandemic process by maintaining its production and investments much needed in these days. Although we initiated our Solar Power Plant project before the economic conditions affected by the coronavirus, we were able to complete it even in these very difficult times with the measures we took and our emergency action plans.
We started this project in order to add on to our eco-friendly approach and the Environment Culture we've built for years by benefitting from renewable energy sources.
"Why shouldn't we give a hand in leaving a cleaner world for the future?" we asked:
We will not create pollution by using clean energy.
We will be able to reduce greenhouse gas (Co2) emissions.
We will not cause any noise by using silent energy. We will be able to save hundreds of trees every year with our contribution to reducing fossil fuel use.
"Why shouldn't save energy by producing our own?" we asked:
We all know that the sun is an unlimited source of energy. We will be able to contribute to national energy as well as producing our own energy.
We are now proud to implement the Solar Power Plant project and hope to inspire other companies.
